2. Overview: What is this about?
We process personal data to provide this website, answer enquiries, enable appointments, provide the chatbot and – if you consent – measure and improve the use of the website.
3. Hosting, domain and delivery via Cloudflare
This website is operated on a virtual server (VPS) in Germany. The hosting provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
The domain is registered with GoDaddy. The domain registrar is GoDaddy.com, LLC, 14455 N. Hayden Road, Suite 226, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, USA.
For DNS and delivery/security functions we use Cloudflare. Cloudflare may act as a reverse proxy, content delivery network (CDN) and security service (e.g. DDoS protection, firewall), so that requests can technically run through Cloudflare. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, stable and performant operation).
4. Server log files
When the website is accessed, technical access data is processed automatically, in particular IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to provide the website, detect attacks and analyse errors.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Retention period: 30 days. In the event of security-relevant incidents, log files may exceptionally be stored longer until the incident has been clarified.
5. Cookies and consent management with Borlabs Cookie

- Technically necessary cookies: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- Optional cookies/tracking and external services: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the website.
6. Google Tag Manager (GTM)
We use Google Tag Manager to manage website tags centrally. GTM is only loaded if you have consented in the cookie banner.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
7. Google Analytics (GA4)
If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse and improve the use of our website. This processes, for example, page views, clicks, technical information about the device/browser as well as events.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
Transfer to third countries: It cannot be ruled out that data is also transferred to servers outside the EU/EEA (e.g. the USA). Appropriate safeguards are used for this (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
8. Appointment booking with Calendly
We use Calendly so that you can book a free intro call. When you use Calendly, typically your name, email address, preferred appointment and possibly further details you enter in the booking form are processed.
Provider: Calendly, LLC, USA.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measure / appointment scheduling). If Calendly or its content is only loaded after consent, additionally Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
Transfer to third countries: Processing in the USA is possible. Calendly uses appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required.
9. Contact form and getting in touch
When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you send us, e.g. name, email and message. The purpose is to handle your enquiry and communicate with you.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication), depending on the content.
10. Chatbot and stored conversations
We offer a chatbot on our website. When you use it, we process the content of your messages and technical data necessary to provide the chat. The conversations may be stored to handle your enquiry and improve the quality of responses.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual communication) and/or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient support and quality improvement). If certain functions are only activated after consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR applies.
Retention period: Chat content is generally only stored for as long as necessary for handling and quality assurance, and then deleted or anonymised, unless longer retention is required.
Note: Please do not send sensitive data such as passwords, credit card details or ID documents in the chat.
11. WhatsApp button
There is a WhatsApp button on the website. When you click it, you are redirected to WhatsApp and can send us a message. Your phone number and possibly further data are then processed by WhatsApp. WhatsApp's privacy terms apply.
Provider: WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (for users in the EEA).
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contact) or Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent by starting the communication), depending on the case.
Please do not send us sensitive data via WhatsApp.
12. Recipients, processors and third-country transfers
We only pass on personal data when it is necessary for the purposes stated above, when you have consented, or when we are legally obliged to do so. Where applicable, we use service providers as processors, e.g. for hosting, security/performance, analytics and appointment booking.
With some services, a transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA may take place, in particular to the USA. In such cases we use – where required – appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) and review additional protective measures.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to certain processing. If processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
14. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence or place of work.
15. Changes to this privacy policy
We may adapt this privacy policy if our website, the tools we use or legal requirements change.
The German version of this privacy policy is legally binding.
